str+="offers you a host of phone plus services, converting your old basic ";
str+="telephones to a sophisticated tool which can be used for a variety of ";
str+="applications.
All the Phone Plus facilities ";
str+="are available free of cost with effect from January 22nd, 2003. \n";
str+="CLIP Facility: ";
str+="This facility displays the calling number for an incoming call ";
str+="even before you answer the call. The CLIP gadget attched to your instrument ";
str+="displays the number of the caller. ";
str+="The CLIP equipment at the customer's end should be purchased ";
str+="by the cusomer himself. \n";
str+="TEC approved units should be connected to ";
str+="the telephone line. DTMF based CLIP instrument would only be compatible. ";
str+="CALL WAITING Facility \n";
str+="You are alerted about an incoming call when you are already engaged ";
str+="on a call. It permits you to handle the second call by keeping the first call ";
str+="on 'Hold'. Procedure: To activate this facility, ";
str+="the customer dials '118' and gets an acknowledgement tone. To ";
str+="deactivate the facility the customer should dial '119'. \n";
str+="How to use: Suppose the customer 'A' who has ";
str+="this facility is is in conversation with 'B', the call having been ";
str+="originated by 'A' or 'B'. Suppose a third customer 'C' makes a call to ";
str+="'A', customer 'C' will get a ringback tone instead of the usual ";
str+="busy tone. 'A' will get a special tone for 3 seconds, informing him that ";
str+="some one else has dialled his number. \n";
str+="IN CASE OF E-10B/OCB/AXE EXCHANGE SUBSRIBERS: ";
str+="'A' has two options: OPTION 1 : If he flashes hook switch and dials ";
str+="'1', he gets connected to 'C', and his call with 'B' gets ";
str+="disconnected. OPTION 2 : If he flashes hook switch and dials '2', ";
str+="he gets connected to 'C' and 'B' is put on 'Hold'. \n";
str+="In the second option after his conversation with 'C', ";
str+="the customer 'A' has again two options: ";
str+="OPTION 1 : Flash and dial '1' to disconnect 'C', and talk to ";
str+="'B'. OPTION 2 : Flash and dial '2' to hold 'C', ";
str+="and talk to 'B'. Any number of switchovers ";
str+="can be done by 'A' in this way. \n";
str+="IN CASE OF C-DOT EXCHANGES: ";
str+="The customer 'A' having this facility, when in conversation with 'B',";
str+=" will get an intrusion tone as an indicator of another incoming call from ";
str+="'C'. The customer 'C' gets ringback tone instead of busy tone.";
str+="The customer 'A' has now two options: OPTION 1 : By depressing\n";
str+="the hook switch, 'A' will disconnect 'B' and get connected to ";
str+="'C'. OPTION 2 : By flashing the hook switch for a short duration, ";
str+="'B' will be on 'Hold', 'A' will get connected to ";
str+="'C' In the second option, during the conversation ";
str+="with 'C', 'B' will get the waiting tone. If 'A' flashes ";
str+="the hook switch again, 'C' will be on 'Hold', and 'A' can ";
str+="be in conversation with 'B'. Like this 'A' ";
str+="can toggle between 'B' and 'C' any number of times. \n";
str+="When using the Internet, the customer ";
str+="has to disable this facility by dialiing '119'. \n";
str+="CALL TRANSFER Facility \n";
str+="Using this facility, incoming calls can be diverted to another ";
str+="telephone number designated by you. This facility is extended only on request. ";
str+="Please note that all such redirected calls ";
str+="are metered in the customer's telephone also. \n";
str+="Procedure : To activate the call transfer, the customer ";
str+="has to dial '114' followed by the telephone number to which he desires ";
str+="to transfer the incoming calls in quick succession. To deactivate the call ";
str+="transfer and start receiving incoming calls, the customer has to simply dial ";
str+="'115' from his/her telephone. \n";
str+="The following additional transfer facilities are available in ";
str+="AXE/OCB/5 ESS EXCHANGES: ";
str+="Call Transfer on busy : When the telephone of the ";
str+="customer is busy, the incoming calls can be diverted to another telephone ";
str+="programmed by the customer himself. For activation, dial '1220' ";
str+="followed by the telephone number to which call is to be diverted. ";
str+="To deactivate this, dial '1221' followed by the telephone number. ";
str+="Call Transfer on no reply : In case customer's ";
str+="telephone is unanswered for 20 seconds, the incoming call gets diverted / ";
str+="transfered to another number programmed by the customer. To activate this, ";
str+="dial '1222' followed by the telephone number to which calls are to be ";
str+="diverted. To deactivate, dial '1223' followed by the telephone number ";
str+="to which calls were transfered earlier. \n";
str+="The following additional transfer facilities are available in ";
str+="C-DOT EXCHANGES : ";
str+="Call Transfer on busy : When the telephone of the ";
str+="customer is busy, the incoming calls can be diverted to another telephone ";
str+="programmed by the customer himself. For activation, dial '1220' ";
str+="followed by the telephone number to which call is to be diverted. ";
str+="To deactivate this, dial '1221' followed by the telephone number. ";
str+="Call Transfer on no reply : In case customer's ";
str+="telephone is unanswered for 30 seconds, the incoming call gets diverted / ";
str+="transfered to another number programmed by the customer. To activate this, ";
str+="dial '1228' followed by the telephone number to which calls are to be ";

str+="to which calls were transfered earlier. \n";
str+="Abbreviated Dialling Facility: ";
str+="This facility enables the customer to call frequently contacted ";
str+="customers by dialling a short pre-alloted code of fewer number of digits. \n";
str+="Procedure: The customer assigns a two digit code ";
str+="(20 to 39) to the telephone number he calls frequently by dialling ";
str+="'110' followed by the two digit code & followed by the telephone ";
str+="number in quick succession. The telephone number should be prefixed by the ";
str+="relevent STD or ISD code, if it is an outstation number. An acknowledgement ";
str+="tone is heard after dialling all the digits, indicating the registration of the ";
str+="assignment in the system. Thereafter, whenever the customer desires to contact ";
str+="this telephone number, he has to dial '111' followed by the assigned ";
str+="two digit code instead of dialling the actual number. The customer can ";
str+="change an assignment any time by dialling '110' followed by the two digit ";
str+="code followed by the new telephone number. ";
str+="This facility is not available in C-DOT ";
str+="Exchanges. \n";
str+="Automatic Wakeup Facility: ";
str+="This facility enables the customer to get an automatic reminder ";
str+="call from the exchange at the fixed time specified by him in advance. ";
str+="Each such alarm call received gets charged ";
str+="for 2 unit calls. Procedure : To register a ";
str+="request, the customer dials '116' followed by the hour ";
str+="(00 to 23) followed by the minute (00 to 59) ";
str+="at which he wants to receive wake up call. To cancel a request registered ";
str+="by him earlier, the customer dials '117' followed by the same time "
str+="he had set earlier. An acknowledgement tone is heard by the customer after "
str+="his registration and also after cancellation. \n";
str+="Hot Line Facility: ";
str+="This facility enables the customer to call a fixed telephone ";
str+="number without dialling any digit. ";
str+="This facility is extended only on request.";

str+="Hotline can be with delay or without delay. This\n";
str+="option also has to be programmed in the exchange. Incoming calls on a telephone\n";
str+="with hotline facility will be received normally. \n";
str+="Procedure : I In case of Hotline without\n";
str+="delay, whenever the customer lifts the receiver, a call is made immediately\n";
str+="from his telephone to the pre-fixed number. The customer cannot make calls to\n";
str+="any number other than the prefixed number. II In case of\n";
str+="Hotline with delay, when the customer lifts the receiver, a call is made\n";
str+="to the prefixed number if no other call is originated from his telephone within\n";
str+="5 seconds. The customer can make calls to other telephones if he dials within\n";
str+="5 seconds after lifting his receiver. \n";
str+="Dynamic locking of STD/ISD facility: ";
str+="This facility enables the customer to restrict availability\n";
str+="of various types of outgoing calls, STD, ISD, PRM, Group Dialling, and special\n";
str+="service calls from his telephone with the use of a secret code number, fixed\n";
str+="and managed by the customer himself and known only to him. \n";
str+="REGISTRATION OF PASSWORD : FOR E10B, OCB, AXE, &"; str+=" 5-ESS EXCHANGES Choose a four digit password. dial the prefix \"123\"\n";
str+="followed by the password twice, i.e. for example, \"123-5627-5627\" \n";
